Website Services Agreement

A plain-English agreement for building and caring for your website

Effective date: October 19, 2026

This agreement is between Pace Designs (“we”) and the business that signs up for a website plan (“you”). It starts on the day you accept it at checkout.

1. What we'll build

We will design and build a custom website for your business that looks good and works well on phones, tablets and computers. It includes:

• Your menu or services with prices, hours, location with a map, photos and customer reviews
• A tap-to-call button so customers can call you directly
• Google and AI search setup, so search engines and AI assistants can find and describe your business
• Updating your Google Business Profile, Facebook and Yelp pages to link to the new site
• HTTPS security (the padlock in the browser), plus your domain name and hosting

Not included: online ordering or online payments. Customers call you directly. Anything not listed here can be quoted separately.

2. Timeline

Your site will be live within 5 days after you send us your menu or services with prices, photos and hours. Up to two rounds of revisions are included before launch. If information or feedback takes longer to arrive, the launch date moves back by the same amount of time.

3. Price and payment

Your plan is the one shown at checkout:

• The setup fee covers design, build, domain, hosting and Google setup.
• You pay through a secure Stripe payment link. It charges the setup fee once and starts your monthly plan, which then bills automatically each month.

If a payment doesn't go through: your monthly plan is billed automatically to the card on file. If a payment fails, Stripe will retry it. If it stays unpaid, your plan will be canceled and Pace Designs may take your website offline until your account is brought current. Your domain stays registered to you for the term already paid for.

4. Monthly plan

$50 per month (Small) or $75 per month (Established). The plan covers:

• Hosting and yearly domain renewal
• Security and software updates to keep the site safe and running
• Updates to your menu or services, prices, hours and photos whenever you ask (usually within 1–2 business days)
• Local support from Carter in Birmingham, by call, text or email

The plan is month-to-month. Either of us can cancel with 30 days' notice by text or email. Larger projects, like new pages or a redesign, are quoted separately.

5. Who owns what

You own your content (menu or services, photos, logo and text) and your domain name. We manage the domain for you while the monthly plan is active. If you cancel, once all balances are paid, we will transfer the domain to you (or anyone you choose) and give you a copy of your website files.

6. Your photos and content

You confirm that you own, or have permission to use, the photos, logos and text you give us (including any photos you let us use from your Facebook page), and that your menu or services, prices and hours are accurate. You are responsible for that content.

7. Search results

We will set up your site to be found on Google and AI search tools, but no one can guarantee a specific ranking or placement. Those results are controlled by Google and other companies.

8. Limitation of liability

We will do the work carefully and professionally. We are not responsible for lost profits, lost business or other indirect losses, or for outages caused by hosting companies, other outside services or events beyond our control. Our total responsibility under this agreement is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the issue.

9. General terms

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Alabama. It is our full agreement, and any changes must be in writing (email or text is fine) and agreed to by both of us.

10. Privacy

When you pay, Stripe's secure checkout collects your name, email, phone number and business name. Your card details are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number. We use your information only to deliver your website and plan, and we never sell it. See our Privacy Policy for details.
